Glass

I just saw the video for this song by Thompson Square earlier today and had to share!! I love this song, especially the line:
We are shaped by the light we let through us
I would so love to go to a Lady Antebellum concert, Thompson Square and Darius Rucker are opening for them and the only way a country music concert gets better than that is if Miranda Lambert or Blake Shelton was there 🙂
Anyway, here’s the video:

Even if it breaks your heart

First favorite song of the new year! I’ve yet to get a cd by the Eli Young band but I sure would love to have one (‘though I’m not sure I could figure out which one to get first :))

A music video thats worth actually watching.

I tend to ignore country music videos anymore, why? Because a lot of them are just concert performances or videos where they are just sitting around singing (and maybe they include a few nature scenes) but not very many tell a good story anymore so when I saw “Love don’t run” by Steve Holy, I fell in love with both the song and the video because the story it tells is interesting in both the characters and the settings 🙂 (okay so the plot is predictable but there are multiple layers to the story that all blend well with the song)
